There is no dress code at any of our restaurants. All our restaurants are wheelchair accessible. Daishō takes reservations for our large format meals, and a la carte reservations.

We try our best to serve delicious food.
Are there menu items for vegetarians (or those with other special diets)?
We offer a few vegetarian items. Please alert your server of any allergies or special dietary needs you may have. Your server can help you navigate the menu.

Can large parties be accommodated at Daishō?
Yes, large parties of up to 10 people can be accommodated at Daishō for large format meals. To make a reservation, click here. For parties larger than 10, please contact our events team at firstname.lastname@example.org
What’s your wait time like?
Because every day is different, we can’t accurately predict wait times. If you have a wait in the evening, you may wait in Nikai, our bar/lounge on the second floor. Please note, we are only able to seat complete parties.
May I bring an outside cake to my meal?
No, no outside food is allowed.
Can I have a private party at Daishō?

Large Format Meals
How do I pre-order a large format meal?
To make a reservation for a large format meal, please click here or call 647.253.8000 between 10:30am – 5pm, Monday – Saturday.
Why do you only take reservations for specific party sizes for the large format meals?
The party sizes are recommended based on the amount of food.
Can we order from the regular menu?
Yes, since the large format meals are technically one dish, most parties also order from the a la carte menu so they can try a variety of dishes.
Are there beverage pairings?
No, but your server can recommend cocktails, wine, beer or sake.
Are there any vegetarian alternatives to the large formats?
No, but vegetarians can enjoy some of the large format sides without the main meat or they may order items from the a la carte menu.
How much time does it take? How long is the typical large format meal?
Your large format meal will arrive promptly after your reservation time. Guests typically take 1.5 Hours to finish their large format meal.
May I bring an outside cake to my large format meal?
No, no outside food is allowed.
How do I get into Daishō?
Daishō accepts walk-ins and reservations. We accept a la carte reservations for parties of 1 – 10 people, and large format reservations for parties of 4 – 10 people. Groups of 11 or more can contact email@example.com.

Yes, please call our reservations line at 647.253.8000 between 10:30 am – 5 pm, Monday – Saturday.
May I make a reservation for someone else?
No. The person making the reservation must attend the meal.
I would like to pre-pay for their meal, drinks. how do I do this?

Can I change my party size?
Yes, you can increase or decrease your party size by calling 647.253.8000.
How many days in the future are available for booking online?
Our calendar shows 45 days of availability including the current day.
What time do the next available day’s reservation times become available?
Every day at 10:00am eastern time.
How do I know what’s available?
Available times will be shown once you’ve selected a date. Note, your reservation is not held unless you complete entire reservation process.
I am going to be late for my reservation. What should I do?
If you’re going to be late for your reservation, please call 647.253.8002. Out of respect for other guests, we can only hold your table for 15 minutes.
I need to cancel my reservation. What should I do?
Please click the cancel link in your confirmation email. Cancellations made within 48 hours of Bo Ssäm, Lobster, or Brisket reservations are subject to a cancellation fee of $125. Cancellations made within 48 hours of Ribeye reservations are subject to a cancellation fee of $300.
What happens to cancellations / Is there a waiting list / Do you allow walk-ins?
Cancelled reservations return to the reservation system. There is no wait list, but Daishō does accept walk-ins for its a la carte menu.
